The other artist whose work is going into Capitol Hill Station, local artist Ellen Forney, has her concepts up on her website. If you don't remember, Brooklyn-based Mike Ross caused some controversy with his jet-plane sculpture for above the platform. I like Forney's art, but I'd say it's possibly more risque than Mr Ross's. What do you think?

I think I like the yellow tiles more than the art.
I like it, but I'm not sure how ready I am to see it every day.
I like it, but I'd like it better if there was some unifying theme to all of the artwork at each particular station. Just have the artists contact one another so thier pieces somehow compliment one another.
I'd like to see some Forney art that was more risque. I like what's proposed, but I like a lot of her other art more.
a bit shallow... i suppose it preps you for the planes though.
i think it holds up ok. unlike most of the atrocious public art we've got, this installation seems to fit better with the surroundings and also seems like it will survive years of neglect, dust, humidity and other forms of abuse without looking 10x crappier within months.
the fighter jets, on the other hand, seem like an annoying and silly thing to stick in the station. i don't care about the more symbolic things they supposedly represent, etc. - i just see them as being an ugly, unmaintained amateurish eyesore within 4 months that will no longer look the way the artist intended (e.g. covered with dirt and grime). they'll just look shabby and like the world's most expensive high school visual arts project.
I think Andrew C's comment is the comment of the day!
